Double Masters Privacy Policy

This Privacy Statement applies to www.doublemasters.com, owned and operated by Double Masters. This Privacy Statement describes how Double Masters collects and uses the personal information you provide. It also describes the choices available to you regarding the use of, your access to, and how to update and correct your personal information.

1. Information We Collect and Purpose for Collection

New User Registration

In order to use our simulations, you must first complete the New User Registration form. During registration, you are required to provide minimal contact information (your first and last name and email address). Your email address will only be used to contact you when required for the specific product or service on our site in which you have expressed interest. Registered users will be grouped with their organization, such as a university or a company, when that organization requests to use our services.

For those users who access our site from their organization via Single Sign On (SSO), their username and email will automatically populate in our system. These users will automatically be grouped with their organization. No other information is gathered from these users.

Whenever you purchase a product on the Double Masters website, you will receive both an online confirmation and an email receipt sent to the email address registered to your Double Masters user ID.

Purchases

If you purchase a product or service from us, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. In order to provide services, Double Masters will transfer this personal data to a third-party payment provider to process payment transactions.

If you pay by credit card, you must provide contact information (name, email, and billing address) and financial information (credit card number and expiration date). Double Masters uses a credit card authorization service to handle all credit card transactions. All contact and financial information gathered during this process IS NOT RETAINED by Double Masters and is only used to complete the transaction. No other data is transferred during this process.

If you pay with your PayPalTM account, no additional personal information is gathered by Double Masters during the transaction since you will be transferred to the PayPalTM website to complete the authorization process.

In either payment scenario, if we have trouble processing an order, we will use your email address to contact you.

Contacting Double Masters

If you contact Double Masters via the Support email or fill out the form on our website, your must provide your name and email, while your phone number is optional. In general, we will respond to queries and issues by email. For sales inquiries or follow up, we will only contact you by phone when necessary.

Log Files

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We use this information, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track user's movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

2. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Double Masters is the sole owner of the user account information collected on doublemasters.com and will not share it with or sell it to third parties.

We DO NOT share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our partners and advertisers.

We DO NOT link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.

Personally Identifiable information

We DO NOT share personally identifiable information with third parties other than as described in this privacy policy.

We may partner with companies that provide services to help us with our business activities, for example, to provide hosting services for our website, or to send autogenerated emails, such as new user registration, verification of email, and purchase receipt. These companies are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any purpose.

In certain situations, Double Masters may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities. 3. Communications from Double Masters

Service-related Announcements

We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email.

We will also contact you in the event of a data breach where your personal information is leaked or lost.

Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account by contacting Double Masters.

Customer Service

When you first register as a user on the Double Masters website, we will send you a welcoming email to validate your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email only. We DO NOT share your profile with third parties for promotional purposes.

4. Access to Personally Identifiable Information

Double Masters acknowledges that you have the right to access your personal information. If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may [correct, update, delete or deactivate it] by making the change on you’re My Account information page, or by emailing Double Masters at info@doublemasters.com. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe, as listed on our Support page, Report a Problem tab.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed, in the context of the purpose for which it was collected, to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You can choose to have your Double Masters user account terminated by contacting Double Masters at any time at the following email address; info@doublemasters.com. If you make such a request, your user account will be immediately deleted and none of your personal information will be retained. We may retain invoice records for longer periods for accounting, tax and audit purposes.

5. Your California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our sites or services that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties. 8. Bulletin Board/Discussion Groups

If you use a bulletin board/discussion group on this site, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums. Double Masters NEVER exposes any information about our users on these forums other than their name.

In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personally identifiable information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

Double Master services are created for professional and academic use and are not intended for minors or children under the age of 13.
